- Insurance of all self drive hired plant & equipment is the responsibility of the hirer until collected by Acland Plant Hire from site or returned to the Acland Plant Hire yard.
- All plant is supplied full of fuel and the cost is included in the hire when hired with an operator but chargeable when on self drive, please note that replacement fuel to fill the machine on return will be chargeable at our current rate + vat @ 5%.
When hire is on a self drive basis it is the hirer’s responsibility to check and maintain oil’s, water and fuel levels, and keep tyres inflated to the correct pressures, and keep the machine well greased. - Transport is not inclusive in the hire rates, but is available if required.
- Charges will be made to cover plant returned in a damaged condition or in an excessively dirty condition.
- Self drive machine hire is based on a 10 hour working day during a 24 hour period.
- The hirer is to phone the office to off hire machinery so that the hire period to be charged can be recorded.
- All prices quoted are in £ sterling and will be subject to the current vat charge.
- Punctures & tyre damage to machinery will be the responsibility of the hirer to either get repaired or replaced.
- TERMS: Payment 28 days from date of invoice or in advance for the 1st hire
